Connect Grok
Give Grok access to the things you’ve saved, so your next conversation can pick up with familiar context.
Use Grok in your browser. Grok offers connectors to all users. On Business or Enterprise, a team administrator must add the connector before members can use it. Check Grok’s connection guide ↗
Step 1: Get your Gomind account ready
Open Gomind and sign in or create an account. If asked to create an organization, give it a name such as “My memory.” This is your workspace. Already have one? Use that.
Open Gomind (opens in a new tab)Keep this guide open while you set up the connection in another tab.
Step 2: Add Gomind in Grok’s connectors
Open Grok’s Connectors page. Select New Connector → Custom, then paste the MCP server URL below. If there’s a name field, use Gomind.
Continue through the connection flow to sign in to Gomind.
Using Grok with a team?
Your administrator first adds Gomind in the xAI console under Grok Business → Connectors → Add Connector → Other, using the URL above. Then connect your own account from Grok’s connectors page. See the team setup guide ↗
Step 3: Let Grok use your Gomind memory
On the Gomind approval page, sign in if asked, then choose your organization. A collection is a space for a set of memories; choose Default for your first setup.
Review the permissions. Read facts lets Grok look up memories; Write and delete facts lets it save and remove them. Enable both to follow this guide, then select Allow.
Use the same organization and collection if you later connect another AI app and want it to use these memories.
Step 4: Start a conversation with Grok
Return to Grok and start a new chat. After the connection succeeds, Grok can use Gomind’s tools in conversations. Mention Gomind in your request so it knows where to save or look up a fact.
Step 5: Try your first memory
Copy this message into Grok:
Use Gomind to remember that I prefer short answers with a practical example.
Check that Grok actually used Gomind to save the fact. Then start a new chat and send:
Look in Gomind: how do I prefer you to answer?
Look for a Gomind tool result containing your preference. That’s your first memory carried into a new conversation.
Need a hand?
I can’t find the connector on my work account.
Ask your Grok Business or Enterprise administrator to add Gomind for your team. Once it’s available, you still need to connect your own Gomind account.
Grok says it can’t find my memory.
Check that Gomind is connected, and ask Grok to use it explicitly. Check that the original save succeeded, that your Gomind organization has credits, and that both conversations use the same organization and collection.
The connection or approval expired.
Return to Grok’s connectors and reconnect Gomind to get a fresh approval page. Sign in to the Gomind account where you created your organization.
Want to use that memory elsewhere? Connect another AI app. You can manage access in Connections in your Gomind dashboard.
Setup instructions checked against Grok’s documentation on September 22, 2026. App menus and account availability can change.
